Competitors
The Competitor management form provides a method of keeping track of your direct competitors.

- Web address recordable
- Business address and contact details recordable
- Notes field with unlimited capability
- Unlimited date-stamped memo entries available per competitor
- Linked or managed Documents per competitor

Activation: Main > Accounts receivable > Competitors
Special actions available for users with Administrator permissions:
- Change the User ID of the Entered by field of memos.
- Edit memos entered by other users.
Database rules:
- None


This list displays the codes of all Competitors that have been defined in Accentis Enterprise. As you click on each entry in the Competitors list, the details for that competitor are shown in the area to the right.
The list of competitors is non-editable and serves only as a display and selection method. When you are ready to edit or delete a competitor, ensure that you have the desired competitor selected in the list before clicking on the edit or delete button.

This is a short code that is used to identify the Competitors throughout Accentis Enterprise. There are no restrictions on the types of codes you choose for your competitors, although it is recommended that codes which can be easily identified by all users are used for clarity (e.g. An identifiable text string rather than 001 and 002).

This is the www address of the competitor’s website. Once a web address has been entered, you can click the button to the right of the field to launch your default web browser and navigate directly to the competitor’s website.

Reference: Contact
These are the known contact details for the competitor. These include:
- Contact name
- Phone number
- Mobile number
- Fax number
- E-Mail address

Reference: Memo, Expandable
The Competitor notes field allows any notes or details related to the competitor to be stored. There are no restrictions on the data that you choose to enter in this field.
